PixelBidChurch LED Wall Planner

For churches

How big an LED wall does your sanctuary need?

A few answers about your room. You get the wall size, the pixel pitch and the power it draws — the same engineering an integrator would run, in a minute — and a local installer quotes it.

Recommended wall · Medium sanctuary package
16.8 ft wide × 9.4 ft tall, P2.5

Front row about 12 ft from the stage, back row about 51 ft. P2.5 keeps the grid invisible from the first pew; the height lets the last pew read lyrics.

See it on your own stage

  1. Take a photo of your stage from the seats.
  2. Enter the height from the stage floor to the ceiling.
  3. Drag the four corners to where the two ends of the stage meet the floor and the ceiling.

The photo never leaves your browser.

Stage floor to ceiling. This and the stage width are what the picture is scaled to.

Stage width 40.0 ft, from above. The handles go at its two ends.

Screen 16'-9 9/16" x 9'-5 3/8" on a 40'-0" x 20'-0" wall. Check the figure looks the right height — if it does, the corners are marked well.

Composited on a photograph, not measured. Wide lenses bend straight lines, so treat this as an impression of the size and the drawings as the record.

Questions churches ask

How bright does it need to be?

An indoor wall is rated 800 to 1,200 nits and runs at a third of that in a sanctuary. That is several times brighter than any projector, and windows stop mattering.

Will it look right on the livestream?

Yes, with two things set correctly: a pitch of P3 or finer where the camera is close, and a refresh rate of 3,840 Hz or higher; every package runs at 7,680 Hz. Both are in the recommendation. The banding you see on cheap walls comes from low refresh, not from LED itself.

Do we need new electrical?

The plan shows how many dedicated 20 A circuits the wall needs. A typical sanctuary wall needs three to six; an electrician adds them in a day. The number is computed from the panels' peak draw, not from an average.

Will our wall hold it?

The plan shows the weight. The wall hangs on a steel frame fixed to the structure behind it or standing on the stage floor; the installer checks the structure before anything is ordered. Ground-stacked frames need no wall fixings at all.

What happens when a panel fails?

A module is swapped from the front in minutes. Every package ships with spares. Nothing goes back to a factory.

Why LED instead of a projector?

No bulbs, no throw distance, no dark room. A wall is rated for 100,000 hours, which is ten years of Sundays and every weeknight, and it looks the same with the house lights up.

How long does it take?

Gloshine Blade P2.5 (BD2.5) panels are in stock in our Anaheim warehouse: two to three business days from order to delivery, then two to six days on site for a typical sanctuary wall. Most churches plan the install for a week between Sundays.

What does a quote include?

The panels, the frame, the processor, spares, drawings, installation and the warranty. Electrical work depends on the site and is confirmed after the survey. Any permit is separate. The installer's quote itemises all of it.

The recommendation follows the viewing-distance rules LED manufacturers publish and the sizing practice of US houses of worship. Power and weight are computed for a generic cabinet at the recommended pitch; the installer's quote will name the exact product. Budgets are estimates and vary with the building.
